Connect the lines into squares. Create more squares than your opponent.
Dots and boxes - multiplayer game, originally from childhood. Yes, this is the same game that played a big role in our school life. We want you to go back to your childhood by playing this digital game with attractive features and design.
This is a really simple game that can be played without learning complex rules. But behind the apparent simplicity lies a strategic calculation that is realized in the final part of the game.
During the game you can change the color you are playing as and the size of the board.
The game can be played with artificial intelligence, together with another person on the same device, or with an opponent online in multiplayer mode.
The moves are made one by one. The move consists of setting a segment between two points. After setting the segment, the move ends and is transferred to the opponent if, as a result of the move, a square was not formed from the previously established segments. The player who successfully fills the square wins this square and receives a plus point, and also receives a bonus move, which he must use. When the entire playing field is filled, that is, there is not a single empty square and not a single empty segment of length left, the game ends. The one with the most points wins.

Dots and BoxesObjective:
To claim the most boxes by connecting dots to form closed squares.
Gameplay:
Two players take turns connecting adjacent dots on a grid to form horizontal or vertical lines. When a player completes a square, they earn a point and take another turn. The game continues until all squares are claimed.
Strategy:
* Control the Corners: Corner squares are valuable as they require only two lines to complete. Aim to secure them early on.
* Create Forks: When drawing a line, try to create a "fork" - a situation where the opponent must either complete a square for you or block their own line.
* Force Openings: If you cannot complete a square immediately, consider drawing a line that forces your opponent to open up a new section of the grid. This can give you more opportunities to claim squares.
* Block Opponents: Pay attention to your opponent's moves and try to anticipate their next move. Draw lines to block them from completing squares.
* Control the Center: The center squares are less valuable than corner squares, but they can provide more options for connecting lines.
* Think Ahead: Consider not only the immediate move but also the potential implications of your actions. Anticipate your opponent's possible responses and plan accordingly.
Variations:
* Giant Dots and Boxes: Played on a larger grid with more dots.
* Dots and Boxes with Jokers: Jokers allow players to connect dots that are not adjacent.
* Dots and Boxes with Multiple Players: Played with more than two players.
Tips:
* Practice regularly to improve your spatial reasoning skills.
* Study common opening strategies and endgame patterns.
* Be patient and don't get discouraged if you lose a few games.
* Analyze your mistakes and learn from them.
