Wavelength is a unique and engaging party game that challenges players to communicate and guess concepts based on their relative positions on a spectrum. The game features a colorful dial with a sliding indicator that represents a different spectrum in each round. Players take turns giving clues to help their teammates guess the position of the indicator on the spectrum.

Gameplay:

The game is played in teams of two or more players. One player, known as the "Psychic," secretly looks at the spectrum and the position of the indicator. The other players on the Psychic's team, known as the "Guessers," try to guess the position of the indicator based on clues given by the Psychic.

The Psychic gives clues by describing the concept represented by the spectrum and the position of the indicator. They can use words, phrases, or even physical gestures to convey their message. However, they cannot directly state the position of the indicator or use specific numbers.

The Guessers listen carefully to the Psychic's clues and try to pinpoint the location of the indicator on the spectrum. They can ask clarifying questions to help them understand the Psychic's intentions.

Scoring:

After each round, the Guessers score points based on how close they come to guessing the correct position of the indicator. The closer they are, the more points they earn. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Variations:

Wavelength offers several variations to enhance the gameplay experience. These include:

* Reverse Wavelength: In this variation, the Guessers give clues to the Psychic, who tries to move the indicator to the correct position on the spectrum.

* Musical Wavelength: Players sing or hum melodies to convey clues instead of using words.

* Visual Wavelength: Players use drawings or gestures to provide clues about the spectrum and indicator position.
