Gameplay

The game consists of two phases: the Expedition Phase and the Night Phase.

Expedition Phase

During the Expedition Phase, players take turns exploring the island by drawing cards from a central deck. These cards can contain resources, tools, or dangers such as predators or traps. Players must carefully manage their resources and avoid the dangers in order to progress through the island.

Night Phase

At the end of each Expedition Phase, the Night Phase begins. During this phase, players secretly assign roles to themselves and to other players. These roles include the Leader, who can choose a player to explore first in the next Expedition Phase, the Navigator, who can guide the Leader's choice, and the Explorer, who can take additional resources during their turn. However, there is also the Betrayer, who secretly works against the other players and tries to sabotage their progress.
