Overview

Screw Snap is a card game that combines elements of strategy, deduction, and luck. It is played with a standard deck of 52 cards and is suitable for 3-6 players. The objective of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards by strategically playing them on a central pile.

Gameplay

The game begins with each player being dealt 7 cards. The remaining cards form the draw pile. One card is turned face up from the draw pile to start the discard pile.

On their turn, a player can play one card from their hand onto the discard pile. The card played must match either the suit or the rank of the top card on the discard pile. If a player cannot play a card, they must draw one from the draw pile.

If the top card on the discard pile is an Ace, the player who played it can call "Screw Snap." All other players must then immediately place their hands on the pile. The last player to do so must take all the cards on the pile into their hand.

Special Cards

There are two special cards in Screw Snap:

* 2 of Clubs: This card can be played on any card and forces the next player to draw two cards.

* Joker: This card can be played on any card and allows the player who played it to change the suit of the discard pile.

Winning

The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game. If the draw pile runs out before a player wins, the player with the fewest cards in their hand wins.

Variations

There are several variations of Screw Snap, including:

* Snap: This variation does not use the Screw Snap rule.

* Slap: This variation is played with a larger deck of 104 cards and allows players to slap the pile if they have a card that matches both the suit and the rank of the top card.

* Speed Snap: This variation is played very quickly and does not allow players to draw cards if they cannot play one.
