A fun logical game that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
"Classic Lines" is a fun logical game that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. By moving the balls on the board you form horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines of at least five balls of the same color. Once you formed a line, the balls in this line disappear and you earn some points. If you did not form a line, three new balls are added, and the game continues until the board is full. The goal of the game is to make optimal movements and earn maximum score.
There are four difficulty levels:
“Baby” - even baby can play it.
“Beginner” - easy level for new players.
“Professional” - serious game for experienced players.
“Expert” - a brainstorm for advanced players.
Also there is a custom difficulty level where you manually adjust the board dimension, the color count and the line length.
The game is designed for both phones and tablets and works in portrait screen orientation.
Classic Lines is a simple yet addictive puzzle game, often referred to as Lines 98 or Color Lines, played on a 9x9 grid. The core objective is to prevent the board from filling up with colored balls. Each turn, the game randomly places three new balls on empty squares. The player's task is to strategically move a single ball per turn to create horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines of five or more balls of the same color. When a line of five or more is formed, those balls disappear, freeing up space on the board.
The gameplay hinges on planning and foresight. A ball can only be moved if there's a clear, unobstructed path to its destination. This means the player must consider not only the immediate opportunity to form a line but also the potential consequences of each move, as it might block future paths or create opportunities for the AI to place new balls in unfavorable locations. A key element of strategy involves creating "waiting" lines – incomplete lines of three or four balls – that can be quickly completed with subsequent moves. The game continues until the entire board is filled with balls, at which point the game ends. The player's score typically increases with each line cleared, often with bonus points awarded for clearing multiple lines simultaneously or for longer lines. Skillful players can manage the board and accumulate high scores by efficiently clearing lines and anticipating the placement of new balls.
