Introduction to the Tidewatch Slate Drop Mechanism
Oct 16 2025
In the Tidewatch game, slates can be used to open Malik's trial challenge. Some players don't know where to get slates and what the drop mechanism is. Here is an introduction to the drop mechanism of slates in the Tidewatch game. Let's take a look!
Tidewatch Slate Drop Mechanism
Slates may be dropped from equipment books, artifact material books, Titan ruins, dragon ruins and other gameplay methods, and the threshold for obtaining high-level slates will be higher.
Dragon Ruins: Guild dragons in Nightmare 4 and above can drop level 2-4 stone slabs, and in Abyss 1 difficulty, level 2-5 stone slabs can be dropped;
Titan Ruins: Level 2-4 slates can be dropped on Doom 1 difficulty, and level 2-5 slates can be dropped on Doom 2 difficulty;
Equipment Book: Only level 1-2 slates will be dropped below level 21, level 1-3 slates will be dropped only after level 21, and level 1-4 slates will be dropped at level 24;
Artifact Material Book: Level 1-3 slates can be dropped after level 21 and above; after the slates are dropped, relevant difficulty entries will be randomly generated. It is no longer "repetitive tower defense" and the fun is greatly improved. In order to be able to play higher-level slates, we also need to build a stronger team.

Slate level and drops
Refined gems (purple) and transmutation gems (butterfly) can be dropped from all stone slabs, night gems (spider) are dropped from level 2 or above slates, magic pattern refined gems (red) and alienated gems (octopus) are dropped from level 3 or above slates; transformation gems can only be dropped from level 4 or above slates. It turns out that when we reached level 21 of the equipment book, we did not delay the acquisition of mythical and ancient equipment. Now, level 1-3 slates cannot be dropped until level 21 or above. Those who have not yet obtained it should pay attention.
