Kilter Board is an abstract strategy game for two players, played on a 5x5 grid board. The goal of the game is to be the first player to get four of your pieces in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

The game is played with two sets of 12 pieces, one set for each player. The pieces are all the same size and shape, but they are different colors.

To start the game, each player places their 12 pieces on the board, one piece per square. The pieces can be placed anywhere on the board, but they must be placed in a way that does not create a line of four.

Once the pieces are placed, the players take turns moving one of their pieces. A piece can be moved one square in any direction, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

A player can also move a piece by "kiltering" it. Kiltering a piece involves moving it one square in one direction, and then moving it one square in a perpendicular direction. For example, a piece could be moved one square to the right, and then one square up.

Kiltering is a powerful move, as it allows a player to move a piece two squares in one turn. However, kiltering can also be risky, as it can leave a piece exposed to attack.

The game continues until one player gets four of their pieces in a row. The player who does this first wins the game.
