Race Summary

The 2023 Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix was a thrilling and unpredictable race that saw Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing emerge victorious. Starting from second on the grid, Verstappen made a lightning start and overtook polesitter Carlos Sainz Jr. of Ferrari on the opening lap.

Sainz was disappointed to finish second but acknowledged Verstappen's strong performance.

"I gave it my all, but Max was just too strong today," Sainz said. "We need to keep working hard and come back stronger next time."

Perez was happy with his third-place finish, saying that it was a "great result for the team."

"We had a good race today and I'm happy to be on the podium," Perez said. "We'll keep pushing and try to win more races."
