When building a swinging door, make sure all the hinge blocks are parallel to each other, otherwise the gate will not be able to calculate what axis it should swing on and the door will not move.

And if you're building double doors, use an "edge" knot to create a dividing line where the two doors meet. Edge blocks aren't strictly necessary for a freestanding door, they're only needed to keep the door from accidentally "sticking together" with one next to it they shouldn't join.

Swing doors only exist in 90 degree rotation steps, but check to ensure that the swing space between the rotation steps is clear and will not swing through them if an obstacle is encountered.
