Overview

Colmeia Viva (Living Hive) is a Brazilian card game for two to four players. The goal of the game is to collect sets of cards that represent different types of bees in a beehive. The player with the most valuable set of cards at the end of the game wins.

Gameplay

The game is played with a deck of 52 cards. Each card represents a different type of bee, such as a worker bee, a drone bee, or a queen bee. The cards are divided into four suits: honey, pollen, wax, and propolis.

To start the game, each player is dealt a hand of seven cards. The remaining cards are placed in a pile in the center of the table.

On their turn, a player can do one of three things:

* Draw a card: The player can draw a card from the top of the pile.

* Play a card: The player can play a card from their hand to one of the four suits on the table.

* Pass: The player can choose to pass their turn.

If a player plays a card to a suit that already has cards on it, the player must create a set of cards that is worth more points than the set that is already on the table. The value of a set is determined by the number of cards in the set and the type of bees in the set.

Scoring

At the end of the game, players score points for the sets of cards they have collected. The value of a set is determined by the following factors:

* Number of cards: A set of three cards is worth 1 point, a set of four cards is worth 2 points, and a set of five cards is worth 3 points.

* Type of bees: Queen bees are worth 5 points, drone bees are worth 3 points, and worker bees are worth 1 point.

The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

* Collect sets of high-value cards: Queen bees are worth the most points, so it is important to try to collect sets of queen bees.
