Buona is a captivating board game that combines strategy, deduction, and a touch of luck. Designed for 2-4 players aged 10 and up, Buona invites players to engage in a battle of wits and cunning.

Gameplay:

The game revolves around a central board featuring a 5x5 grid of tiles. Each tile is marked with a different symbol representing one of six suits: Bell, Chalice, Coin, Dagger, Key, or Shield. Players take turns placing their tiles on the board, aiming to create the most valuable combinations.

Combinations:

The key to success in Buona lies in creating high-scoring combinations. These include:

* Triplets: Three tiles of the same suit in a row, column, or diagonal.

* Quartets: Four tiles of the same suit in a row, column, or diagonal.

* Quintets: Five tiles of the same suit in a row, column, or diagonal.

* Straight: Five tiles of different suits in a row.

* Flush: Five tiles of the same suit, regardless of their arrangement.

Scoring:

Each combination has a predetermined score. Triplets are worth 3 points, Quartets 6 points, Quintets 9 points, Straights 12 points, and Flushes 15 points. Additionally, players receive bonus points for creating combinations that include specific tiles, such as the Key or Shield.

Special Tiles:

Buona features two special tiles:

* Joker: The Joker can substitute for any suit, making it a valuable asset for completing combinations.

* Blocker: The Blocker prevents players from placing tiles on adjacent spaces, hindering their opponents' strategies.

Winning:

The game ends when all tiles have been placed on the board. The player with the highest total score wins.

* Blocking Opponents: Using Blockers effectively can prevent opponents from completing high-scoring combinations.
