Designed for 5-10 players, the game revolves around two opposing factions: the Spies and the Agents. The Spies' goal is to deceive the Agents and remain undetected, while the Agents must identify the Spies and eliminate them from the game.

Gameplay

Each game of AddMe begins with a secret distribution of roles. One player is randomly chosen to be the Spymaster, who knows the identity of all Spies. The remaining players are divided into Agents and Spies. The Spymaster then provides the Spies with a single-word clue that hints at their secret identities.

The game proceeds in rounds, with each round consisting of three phases:

* Guessing Phase: The Agents take turns guessing the identities of the Spies. They can guess any player, including themselves.

* Revealing Phase: After each guess, the Spymaster reveals the true identity of the guessed player. If an Agent is revealed, the game continues. If a Spy is revealed, the Spies lose one life.

* Discussion Phase: After the revealing phase, the Agents have time to discuss their guesses and strategies.

Winning Conditions

The Spies win if they can survive for a predetermined number of rounds without being discovered. The Agents win if they can correctly identify and eliminate all the Spies.

Special Abilities

In addition to the basic gameplay, AddMe introduces several special abilities that add depth and strategy to the game. These abilities include:

* Spymaster's Clue: The Spymaster can provide additional clues to the Spies during the guessing phase.

* Double Agent: A Spy can secretly align themselves with the Agents and provide them with information about the other Spies.

* Informant: An Agent can request a hint from the Spymaster about the identity of a specific player.

AddMe offers several variations to enhance gameplay, including:

* Team Mode: Players are divided into two teams, with each team having its own Spymaster and Spies.

* Silent Mode: Players cannot speak during the discussion phase, adding an extra layer of challenge.
