The core logic revolves around a three-sided marketplace: customers, merchants (restaurants, stores), and couriers (Wolt partners).

Customers browse menus or product catalogs through the Wolt app, place orders, and pay electronically. The platform handles order routing and management, transmitting the order to the selected merchant. Merchants receive the order, prepare the food or goods, and mark the order as ready for pickup.

Wolt's algorithm dispatches available couriers to the merchant's location to pick up the order.
