Left-hand Mode

If you are looking for a left-hand solitaire card game you can adjust the layout in the game options.

By choosing left-hand mode, the deck will be moved to the left side and the aces to the right.

Basic Solitaire Tips

♣ Large Stacks First

If you start a TriPeaks game by opening larger piles, you might have it easier in the long run.

♥ Use the Deck Last

Try to use cards from the piles first before you use the deck. Especially important in Vegas draw-3, because the redraws are limited and you need to think carefully when to flip a new card.

♣ Emptying Piles

Often overlooked but quite important: do not be tempted to empty tableau spots or piles just to remove all the cards from that slot. If you don’t have a King to put into that spot, the space will simply remain empty.

♥ Kings

Carefully decide if you place a red or black King on an empty spot. Consider what Queen and Jack cards you have available!

TriPeaks Solitaire, also known as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks, is a popular solitaire card game variant. The game's objective is to clear three peaks made of cards by transferring cards from the tableau to the waste pile. The tableau consists of three pyramids of cards, with one card overlapping the two cards below it. The game begins with one card face up in the waste pile.

Gameplay involves selecting cards from the tableau that are one rank higher or lower than the top card on the waste pile, regardless of suit. When a card is moved from the tableau to the waste pile, it becomes available to expose the card(s) underneath. If no cards on the tableau can be moved, a card from the stock pile is flipped onto the waste pile. This continues until either all the cards in the tableau have been moved to the waste pile, resulting in a win, or the stock pile is exhausted and no further moves are possible, leading to a loss.

Strategy in TriPeaks Solitaire involves careful planning to expose hidden cards efficiently and avoid getting blocked. Players often prioritize uncovering cards that unlock multiple other cards or those that are buried deep within the pyramids. Managing the stock pile is also crucial, as blindly flipping cards can quickly deplete it without creating useful moves. Some variations include wild cards or multiple decks to add complexity and increase the chances of winning. Skillful players can achieve high scores by clearing multiple peaks in a single game and minimizing the use of the stock pile.
