Spider Solitaire
Spider Solitaire is a popular single-player card game played with two decks of 52 cards. The objective of the game is to arrange all the cards into eight ordered piles, one for each suit.
Gameplay
The game starts with 54 cards dealt into ten tableau piles. Six of these piles contain six cards each, while the remaining four piles contain five cards each. The top card of each tableau pile is face up, while the remaining cards are face down.
The remaining 50 cards are placed in a draw pile. Players can click on the draw pile to draw a card or three cards at a time. The number of cards drawn depends on the difficulty level selected.
Players can move cards between tableau piles to create sequences of cards in descending order and alternating colors. For example, a red 8 can be placed on a black 9. Aces are considered low, and Kings are considered high.
If a player cannot make any moves, they can click on the stock pile to deal a new set of cards. However, the stock pile is limited, and players must use it wisely.
Suits and Sequences
Spider Solitaire is played with four suits: hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. Each suit has its own pile, and cards must be arranged in descending order within each pile.
Sequences consist of cards in descending order and alternating colors. For example, a sequence could be:
* Black King
* Red Queen
* Black Jack
* Red 10
Empty Spaces
Empty spaces in the tableau can be filled with any card, regardless of suit or rank. This can be helpful for creating sequences and moving cards around the table.
Winning the Game
The game is won when all 54 cards have been arranged into eight ordered piles, one for each suit. When this happens, the piles will automatically move to the foundation piles at the top of the screen.
