Pisti is a popular Turkish card game played with a standard 52-card deck. The core objective is to collect points by "pisti-ing" and collecting cards. A "pisti" occurs when a player plays a card that matches the top card of the discard pile, and the pile contains only one card. This earns the player 10 points. Jacks also have special value, each being worth 1 point. Aces are worth 1 point as well.

Gameplay involves players taking turns playing a single card face-up onto the discard pile. If a player's card matches the top card of the discard pile, they collect the entire pile. If the player plays a Jack, they also collect the entire pile regardless of what card is on top. If a player cannot match the top card or play a Jack, they simply discard a card. When the deck runs out, players continue until no one has cards left. The player with the most collected cards at the end of the round receives 3 points. The first player to reach a predetermined score, typically 101 or 151 points, wins the game. Strategy in Pisti involves remembering which cards have been played, anticipating your opponents' moves, and skillfully using Jacks to collect valuable piles. Understanding probability and card counting, even on a basic level, greatly improves your chances of success.
