Mountain Collector

Mountain Collector is a classic card game that combines strategy, luck, and a dash of risk-taking. The objective of the game is to collect sets of mountain cards and be the first player to reach a predetermined number of points.

Gameplay

The game is played with a deck of 52 cards, each representing a different mountain. The deck is shuffled and dealt evenly among the players. Players take turns drawing a card from the deck and playing it face up on the table.

The mountains are divided into four suits: Rockies, Alps, Andes, and Himalayas. Each suit has 13 cards, ranging from Ace to King. The Ace is the lowest-ranking card, while the King is the highest.

Sets

The goal of the game is to collect sets of mountain cards. A set consists of three or four cards of the same suit, in ascending order. For example, a set could be the 3, 4, and 5 of the Rockies suit.

Scoring

When a player completes a set, they score points. The number of points awarded depends on the number of cards in the set:

* Three-card set: 1 point

* Four-card set: 3 points

Special Cards

There are two special cards in the deck: the Joker and the Mountain Collector.

* Joker: The Joker can be used as a wild card to complete any set.

* Mountain Collector: The Mountain Collector card allows the player to collect all of the cards of a particular suit.
